There’s no doubt that expectations of employers and employees have never been higher. This seminar will remind us of God’s mandate for his people from Micah 6:8 ",,,,,And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God."      Engaging With Your Community
“Fact #1: If you are not serving, your faith is withering. Fact #2: your community needs you. No one would argue that Christians shouldn’t serve. Jesus said he came to serve and not be served. The early church served. Serving others is and should be the defining mark of Christians and your church. So, where does one start? How am I to fit this into an already overloaded schedule with work, marriage and kids? How can I find others in my church to join me? How can I share the gospel and not just end up being another social service agency? This seminar is for the person to becoming more externally focused in 2009 and for the person who is externally curious as to where and how to grow in this area of their faith.”

Neeb Jim  -  Lay Counselor  -  Elmbrook Church
Where's God when your life is coming apart?
It may not seem like it at the time but, God is actively working to bring good from the trials, tragedies and trauma that are a reality in this world. He has given us the lives of Joseph, Job and Jesus to give us hope when things look hopeless. Jesus never promised us a life free of pain but, he did promise that he would always be with us and never forsake us.

     Teen Track
Mike Yankoski took a semester off from college in order to become homeless. Along with his friend Sam, Mike chose to live as a homeless man on the streets of six different American cities (Denver, Washington, D.C., Portland, San Francisco, Phoenix and San Diego) for a total of five months. Why did they do it? In order to gain a better understanding of what homelessness is all about, yes, but more importantly because of the nagging question “What ought we as followers of Christ do to help?”
